This role forms part of the Mint Wellness team at Pezula Nature Retreat in Knysna, within the Village n Life hospitality group.
The Role
As a Spa Therapist you’ll deliver professional treatments to Mint Wellness standards while creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. You’ll maintain hygiene protocols, build client relationships and contribute to treatment and retail sales.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide treatments in line with Mint Wellness protocols
– Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality
– Upsell spa services and retail products
– Assist with front desk duties when required
– Participate in training sessions for skills and career development
– Ensure treatment rooms are hygienic and well stocked
– Stay informed on trends and cross-promote spa services with other departments
What We’re Looking For
– Grade 12 and a 3-year beauty therapy diploma (CIDESCO, SAAHSP or ITEC)
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in the spa or beauty industry
– Skilled in massage, facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures and spa-specific therapies
– Computer literacy, Opera and ESP knowledge advantageous
– Strong customer focus with attention to detail
– Team player with a passion for learning and development
