This role forms part of the Mint Wellness team at Pezula Nature Retreat in Knysna, within the Village n Life hospitality group.
The Role
As a Spa Therapist you’ll deliver professional treatments to Mint Wellness standards while creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. You’ll maintain hygiene protocols, build client relationships and contribute to treatment and retail sales.
Key Responsibilities
Provide treatments in line with Mint Wellness protocols.
Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality.
Upsell spa services and retail products.
Assist with front desk duties when required.
Participate in training sessions for skills and career development.
Ensure treatment rooms are hygienic and well stocked.
Stay informed on trends and cross-promote spa services with other departments.
What We’re Looking For
Grade 12 and a 3-year beauty therapy diploma (CIDESCO, SAAHSP or ITEC).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the spa or beauty industry.
Skilled in massage, facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures and spa-specific therapies.
Computer literacy, Opera and ESP knowledge advantageous.
Strong customer focus with attention to detail.
Team player with a passion for learning and development.
